Internal Family Systems Therapy
Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) is an evidence based therapy that suggests we are all made up of parts which make the whole of who we are. These parts of ourselves may show up as emotions, images, body sensations, and thoughts, etc. Through IFS we can get a closer look into these parts in order to better understand how they are playing a role in your life. Once parts are witnessed in a kind, compassionate and curious manner, many times the person will notice feeling more confident, secure, harmonious, emotionally aware and stable. This exploration can allow for a more authentic sense of self to shine through. I weave in Somatic Therapy with IFS for an integrative experience. I am a Level 2 IFS Trained Therapist through the IFS Institute. I have also completed two other trainings through the Institute and practicing IFS since 2020.

Trauma-Informed Therapy
Trauma can leave its mark in the mind, body and heart, that’s why I incorporate different therapeutic practices to support you; such as, Internal Family Systems & Gestalt (parts work), Somatic Therapy, and Polyvagel Theory (exploring the nervous system). Since trauma is often stored in the body, I take an approach that involves both body-awareness and one’s mental-emotional experience of the trauma. I also focus on proper pacing and resourcing to support you in feeling safe and regulated during sessions. We will also explore the societal systems in place that contribute to trauma as well as intergenerational components (trauma passed down in families).

Life Transitions
I take a dynamic and exploratory approach to support you in getting curious and clear about your life path. Our paths may shift due to unforeseen circumstances. Or perhaps we purposefully want to pause and take a look at our path, journey or purpose. In either case, I support you in taking an intentional look at your life, from a place of self awareness, to mindfully make choices that are in alignment with what your authentic self needs, wants and desires.

Guided Grief Companioning
Grief is a natural part of life, yet it can feel overwhelming if not tended to and sat with thoughtfully and intentionally. Whether you’re grieving the loss of a loved one, navigating life transitions like a move or ending of a relationship, loss of safety and a sense of belonging, or, struggling with the weight of global challenges, I offer a compassionate approach to grief tending, to help you honor and navigate your journey and relationship with grief. Drawing from the teachings of Frances Weller, Stephen Jenkinson, and other influential teachers, as well as my own personal relationship with grief, I support individuals in experiencing their grief fully, to create a sacred relationship with grief, without rushing the process. I believe grief is a journey that deserves to be honored and listened to throughout our life. Though the sacred walk with grief can feel heavy and confusing at times, I also believe that, when tended to with care and patience, it can lead to a greater vitality for life and provide clarity and gratitude in our human experience. The journey of grief, when given the time and care it requires, holds growth and gifts on the other side.
